Finally! Got to play this piece..too excited now. Chopin, the poet of the piano, has always been my biggest idol in classic piano area. He peaked Romantic music era and even Franz Liszt cannot be compare with him. He is the one who sings in piano and his melodies catch people's hearts, make them go selflessness, and just float with the tune..My first encounter with Fantaisie-Impromptu Op.66 was in middle school, I was a child but ridiculously fell in love with it. It even started to come into my dreams.. Then I made up my mind that I have to play it! And I did soon after that;) The tune started with speedy and gorgeous melodies, followed by a peaceful and splendid midpart and ended with an endless lingering taste. My skill and time is limited and probably cannot deliver the full version of Chopin's sentimental/passionate/colorful/magnificent inner world, so bear with me and I'll try to do a better version next time.

Richard Clayderman's pieces are almost mandatory필수 for piano-learning children in China. As the melodies are easy-playing, romantic and ear-pleasing, they give good rewards for beginners(Yes I'm speaking from my childhood experience LOL) They are pop-songs in piano world, but they are definitely pleasant to hear. This tune, Wedding of Love, is one of his representative pieces and goes perfectly with an afternoon tea and desserts! 不过,的确很好听,大家都喜欢,适合在下午茶时刻吃着甜点听首小曲,轻松一下~ For Elise is an easy-going piece for pianists, and it's one of the limited amount of Beethoven's bagatelles--as far you may be concerned, the man strongly favored large masterpieces such as symphonys and sonatas (which will also be included in my future records;)) Talking about Elise, there are many versions of rumors yet nobody knows who exactly this mysterious women is. However in my humble opinion, she could be a healthy and charming young lady. As this little smart piece expressed a happy, relax and lively atmosphere, which is very rare in Beethoven's works...So, take it easy and enjoy! You might regard the title of this tune to be "Canon", but in fact, canon is a contrapuntal compositional technique just as fugue/gigue by Bach (who happened to be one of my least favorite composers as a child LOL). This tune in D major by German composer Johann Pachelbel is considered to be the most famous and well-flowed canon. and it has been "variationed" by numerous pianist, including George Winston version, and Asian movie <My Sassy Girl> (BTW don't freak out by the movie title, the girl is actually pretty and nice). 。 |
